Home Sweat Home (not a spelling mistake)

It has been a long time coming but it’s time to put a post back on the page. I’ve been home for a week an a bit and I have ate, slept and breathed wheelchair racing. I’m getting quicker and loving it. I finally got a chance to get to Bathurst and Carcoar this weekend. First day in and all I can think of is how stinkin cold it is…. Tough pushin. Been fantastic in Newy over the last week, guess I forgot it was the middle of winter. Fantastic to spend a few days with my family and just kick back for a minute and relax.

So all is good and everything is smooth and steady. Now just a matter of keeping it going that way:) Under 50 days to go!!!

Atlanta Peachtree 10km

Today I won the last road race of the US tour. I left the boys with a few km to go and made it to the finish about 20 seconds in front. Is great to finish my last Tour with 3 straight wins.

Cedartown 5km

Went 2 wins from 2 starts for the tour. Today I won the Cedartown 5km by about 6 feet. We were 4 seconds outside the course record, closer then I thought considering it was a bit of a tactical battle. Was great to get my 2nd win in this race. Got a call from radio back [...]
