The End of the Mo

My Mo has been getting around a bit of late. It rolled the New York Marathon, cruised through the NYSE and ran across the floor of the Madison Square Garden. On return from the States, it partied in Newy, Bathurst and Carcoar. Rolled to dozens of functions and graced a few awards nights looking on as I got an Outstanding Achievement Award from NSWIS and NSW Young Australian of the Year.

I’d like to say I’ve enjoyed wearing the Mo but that would be a stretch. I have enjoyed the disclaimer at every function I’ve spoke at, that I haven’t ditched the lycra for leather. And explaining the fantastic cause behind so many Aussie blokes letting it all grow free in Movember. It was the first time a frank discussion can be had about mens health without any awkward pauses. And I’m not sure how many times prostate health gets mentioned amongst friends in day to day conversation but because of Movember it’s on it’s way up.  Talking is the first step to managing Men’s Health. So till next year, thanks to everyone that donated, you’ve helped a fantastic cause.

I’m off the grab the razor!!!:)
