I got a win in the first marathon of 2009. It was Paris Marathon and I got up by about 5 metres to a French racer and a Spaniard. It was a great first crack and the perfect warm up race for the London marathon in 2 weeks.
Since then I’ve been training in and around the Pyranese in Spain. The hills have been fantastic for training and I have had quality session after session. However an arm transplant would be appreciated about now:) So all in all everything is moving in the right direction.
I’ve also caught a few games of Barcelona FC as I’ve been staying a little outside Barcelona. They love their football and I’ve found my Spanish team to follow. Go Barcelona in the Champions League!!!
